A fourth person was charged in the robbery and murder of 49-year-old Tony Conway.
Conway arrived at his Northwest Miami-Dade apartment around 3 p.m. Jan. 3 to find four people waiting inside, Miami-Dade police said. The group robbed him and shot him in the stomach. He managed to get to his apartment complex’s common area before collapsing and dying, police said.
Shortly after the group drove away, police said they pulled over the car and found guns inside. Police charged three teenagers — Shawntera Jackson, 16, Dashera Davis, 16, and Travis Charlite, 17 — with first-degree murder the next day.
On Thursday, Miami-Dade police said Steven Blanc showed up at the police station for questioning and was then arrested. Police charged Blanc, 20, with robbery and first-degree murder as well.
