A 21-year-old motorcyclist is in the hospital with critical injuries after being hit by a man driving a stolen car in Southwest Dade on Thursday evening, Miami-Dade police said Friday.
Moshe Moll was driving north on Southwest 112th Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. As he approached Southwest 44th Street, a man driving a white Chevy Tahoe, which authorities say was stolen earlier that day, made a left turn into the motorcycle, police said.
Officers followed the trail left by the car, which was damaged and leaking fluid, to a home at 4130 SW 107th Pl., according to Miami-Dade Det. Romelio Martinez. The home’s residents told police that the driver of the stolen Tahoe, who had crashed into the house and fled on foot, used to live there.
Moll, who was taken to the trauma center at Kendall Regional Medical Center, was badly injured but was expected to recover, Martinez said.
