This man was caught molesting a 7-year-old girl — and took a beating for it, cops say

A 60-year-old man was arrested on charges of molesting a 7-year-old girl, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Spencer K. Joyce, of New Port Richey, was arrested and booked into the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center on a charge of capital sexual battery.

Joyce, the child and her caregiver drove to get food around 11:45 p.m. Monday when the caregiver left the 7-year-old girl alone in the car with Joyce, according to ABC Action News.

When he returned, he saw Joyce molesting the girl. He grabbed Joyce and beat him, ABC Action News reported.

Investigators then responded to the scene and arrested Joyce.
