Police are looking for a man who “tackled” a woman on a late-night walk in a residential neighborhood and sexually battered her.

Fort Lauderdale police said the woman was walking near the 2600 block of Middle River Drive around 1:30 a.m. Thursday when a man threw her to the ground and attacked her before running away. She described the suspect as a tall, heavyset 40-something-year-old white man with a tattoo on his lower right leg, possibly with an Asian theme.

The victim was treated at the Nancy J. Cotterman Sexual Assault Treatment Center.
