Man walks into gas station posing as a customer. Then he pulls a gun and demands cash.
A man recently walked into a Valero Gas station north of Coconut Grove, walked up to the cashier, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.
The entire incident was captured on store surveillance cameras.
On Thursday, police released video of the man — who did not have his face covered — in hopes of identifying him.
According to police, at about 9:15 p.m. Aug. 2, the man, who was wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and white shoes, entered the store, 220 SW 27th Ave. and posed as a customer.
He can be seen in the video pulling a gun from his waistband and pointing it at the cashier. The clerk handed over the cash from the register.
The man grabbed the money and ran.
He is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 130 to 150 pounds and having a clean-shaven face.
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 305-603-6370 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
