Miami-Dade police are searching for two robbers who forced their way into a home with a 14-year-old inside, blindfolded him on the floor with his own shirt and then made off with several electronics Friday Aug. 4.

The two men, believed to be in their late 20s, pushed their way into the residence on the 10000 block of SW 172 Street around 8:30 p.m. after the teenager, who was home alone, opened the door when they knocked, according to a police release. The men then chased him into the kitchen area and forced him to lie down and wrap his head with his shirt, the release said.

Surveillance footage in the home showed the men then searching the house for electronics, rummaging through shelves and bedrooms. At one point, one of the men lifted a large TV display and put it in the middle of the room, footage showed.

The suspects then fled the home through the back door, police said, leaving the teenager uninjured.
