Police detectives believe they have identified one of the two men who impersonated a police officer and handcuffed a South Miami-Dade couple in their home before stealing cash from their safe.
On Thursday, police said they were looking for Usmael “Mylo” Carvajal, 29. They were still trying to identify the second man.
At about 3 a.m. June 13, police say two armed men entered the home in the 9800 block of Southwest 159th Street.
The men forced the homeowners — who had three sleeping children in the home — to open their safe. The men left with an undisclosed amount of money.
