Miami Beach police want to arrest nine employees of the Sugar Factory on Ocean Drive for $86,000 worth of fraud.

Police already arrested five people: Patricia Noorazi, 46; Marija Kovacheva, 28; Ricardo Stummo, 31; Jocelyn Johnson, 22 and Nicole Tourino, 22.

All were charged with grand theft in the second degree and are being held on $50,000 bonds. Police said they have warrants out for the other four employees and expect to arrest them shortly.

Police started investigating when the restaurant’s general manager produced documents showing transaction histories of ex-employees whose employee numbers were reactivated from May to June.

In that month and a half, police say nine employees stole $86,126.68 by transferring their cash table transactions to ex-employees’ accounts. Then the data that showed an ex-employee was clocked in and out was erased, which could only be done by an on-duty manager.
