Latin food truck, craft brews and music on tap for Audubon concert tonight in South Miami
Tropical Audubon’s Conservation Concert series kicks off Saturday night in South Miami.
“Bring a blanket, your sweetie, children, or a friend and come out for an old Florida evening of original and cover music under the oaks and stars,” a press release said.
The event will take place at the Doc Thomas House, 5530 Sunset Dr., South Miami.
The band Take Sixx will inaugurate the 2015 season; Latin Burger & Taco food truck will provide the food. There will be a Bird Bar, courtesy of Republic National Distributing Co., and local craft beer, courtesy of Miami Brewing Co. Entrance is $10 for adults, children’s admission is free. Proceeds will benefit capital improvements to the Tropical Audubon Society grounds and its historic buildings.
Picnic tables are available on a first-come basis. Doors open at 7 p.m., music begins at 7:30 p.m.
