Car crash injures 5 in Southwest Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded Wednesday night to car crash that left five people injured in Southwest Miami-Dade, according to fire officials.

The crash happened at about 9 p.m. at Southwest 201st Street and 116th Avenue in South Miami Heights.

One person was taken as a trauma alert by helicopter to the hospital, three were taken by ambulance and one person was treated and released, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
