Palmetto Bay council to vote on bus service civil-rights compliance on Monday night

Palmetto Bay council members will convene Monday night for their regular meeting to vote on the policy document necessary to bring the village’s bus service into compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

Also on the agenda: a $300,000 contract for road repaving; a $32,000 transit study; and changes to regulations regarding golf cart use and parking exemptions.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and be held in council chambers at Village Hall, 9705 E. Hibiscus St., Palmetto Bay.
