Clifford the Big Red Dog and more set for library’s summer closeout party

North Miami’s public library will announce the winners of the library’s summer reading program and have a end of summer celebration complete with family fun, yoga and an appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog.

The event starts with yoga 9 a.m. Saturday at the North Miami Public Library, 835 NE 132nd St. The party will start at 10 a.m. in the library’s plaza. The party will include giveaways, food and music.

Winners of the summer reading program will be acknowledged and all of the participants will be awarded certificates. The winners in each age bracket will receive a prize. Toddlers win a book basket, kids aged 6 to 12 win a LeapPad tablet, teenagers win an Apple iPad mini and adults win an Amazon Kindle.
