‘I lost myself.’ Wife mourns chef killed in industrial dough mixer accident

A man died Friday morning in what police are calling an accident involving an industrial dough mixer at a kosher market in North Miami Beach.

Officers rushed to South Florida Kosher Market, 1324 NE 163rd Street, to begin investigating 911 calls about the accident, said Maria Pinillos, spokesperson for the North Miami Beach Police Department.

Sometime later, OSHA also went to the scene as part of the investigation.

Mordehay Grunberger, 71, was identified by police as the man who died, but authorities have yet to release details about what caused the accident.

Grunberger, per his Facebook account, worked as a head pastry chef.

His wife, Inna Gastman Moar, took to social media to express her devastation.

“Today, my beloved husband Miki, my closest person in my life my best friend, and father of my two beautiful sons, tragically passed away! I lost myself. I love him so much. He’s the love of my life!,” she wrote on Facebook.
