One dead, one injured after North Miami Beach shooting, detectives say

One man is dead and another hospitalized after a Monday night shooting in North Miami Beach, according to police.
Around 6 a.m., North Miami Beach officers responded to two men who were shot at 2041 Northeast 161st St., the address of a home, detective Eric Rivera told the Miami Herald on Tuesday morning. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of the men died and the other remains in stable condition, investigators said.
Details like who the men are or what hospital they were taken to are still unclear as detectives won’t release any information on the shooting while the investigation is active.
