North Miami mayor’s social media account posted porn. He says he was hacked
Followers of North Miami Mayor Alix Desulme’s X account received a shocking surprise Saturday afternoon when his account posted pornography. He quickly released a statement that his account had been compromised and authorities were searching for the hacker.
Around noon, two pornography posts went up, and by Saturday night, they had over 1,000 interactions. Desulme released a statement that he knew his X account had been “compromised without authorization.”
“The matter is being taken very seriously,” the statement read.
About an hour after the mayor’s statement at 7:20 p.m., the account put up another pornographic post.
Desulme said the appropriate authorities were investigating the incident and trying to determine the source of the breach.
