Miami-Dade police have taken over the scene of a Saturday afternoon house fire in North Miami-Dade that took 22 units to get under control, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s call list.

MDFR referred all media questions about the fire that started at 13320 NW First Ave. around 4:22 p.m. to Miami-Dade Police. Herald news partner CBS4 reports there was a body found in the backyard of one of the two homes damaged by the fire.

Online Miami-Dade property records say the four-bedroom, four-bathroom house is owned and lived in by Eddy Jean and Cedeline Jean.
