A crash involving two cars northbound on I-95 Saturday morning has injured three children and two adults.
One of the children was thrown from one of the cars, which crashed near Northwest 119th Street’s exit on the interstate, and is in critical condition, Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alejandro Camacho said Saturday.
The victims were all transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center — all with serious injuries except for one of the children.
At least two lanes were blocked for hours as rescue crews and investigators remained on the scene following the 8:30 a.m. accident.
Police have not released any names yet.
