Armed robber 'casually walks in and casually walks out,' police say

A man casually walked into a Little River discount store, demanded money from a store clerk, fired a shot in the direction of the store owner and then casually walked out.

Police are hoping surveillance video of the June 6 incident at Lubin’s Discount Store, 7726 NE Second Ave., will help them find the armed robber.

Just before 12:30 p.m. a man, believed to be 25-30 years old, in a gray hooded sweatshirt, black shorts and a ski mask can be seen entering the store. About a minute later he walks out.

The store owner and his brother soon storm out of the store following him, but lose sight, police said.
