A missing Wynwood woman suffering from Alzheimer’s disease has been found safe

UPDATE: Ionian Regalado “has been recovered in good condition,” the Miami Police Department said Tuesday night in a tweet.

ORIGINAL: Ionian Regalado is 52 years old and is dealing with schizophrenia and the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. She lives in the Wynwood area, but also likes the Little Havana area.

Miami police are asking people in either neighborhood and the areas in between to help find her.

Regalado was last seen Monday. She stands about five-foot-six, weighs around 228 pounds and has short, dark hair with gray streaks. She was wearing a black and white hoodie, black shirt, black pants and black sandals.

Anyone who know anything about Regalado’s whereabouts should call Miami police’s special victims unit at 603-6300 or 579-6111.
