Miami Gardens officials deliver information to doorsteps
Miami Gardens elected officials and other community leaders and volunteers will walk through the community on Monday, giving out information on city and Miami-Dade county services and meeting with residents.
The event, which will take place in the Carol City neighborhood, will begin with a briefing for volunteers at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Miami Gardens Police Department, 1020 NW 163rd Dr.
The walk will also feature two mobile units from CareerSource South Florida and the county’s Community Action and Human Services Department assisting with job placement and providing information on various childcare and economic assistance services.
