Opa-locka police officers responding to a call of shots fired found two men with bullet wounds and a woman with stab wounds outside of an apartment Tuesday evening, according to Opa-locka interim city manager David Chiverton.
One man was killed and the other man was taken to Jackson Memorial’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, Chiverton said. The woman was also taken to Ryder Trauma and was in stable condition.
The incident happened at Ali Baba Avenue and Northwest 27th Avenue. Chiverton said police got the call just before 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Miami-Dade police are investigating.

Arriving officers came across a man collapsed in a hallway "who had been shot and stabbed" and "found a trail of blood to an apartment," police spokeswoman Marjorie Eloi said. Inside the apartment, officers found a woman stabbed and a dead man, she said.
Police didn't have a motive late Tuesday, Eloi said.
Rosetta Covington told Miami Herald news aprtner CBS 4 that her nephew, Jonas Covington, was killed in the violence.
“He was a sweetheart. I was just with him on Thanksgiving,” she said.
Those who live nearby said they heard several gunshots and ran for cover.
“I heard four shots and I ducked down behind my truck,” said John Young who lives nearby.
