Headliners announced for 2015 Jazz in the Gardens fest at Sun Life Stadium

Tickets are now on sale for the 10th edition of the Jazz in the Gardens festival and the headliners include some of the biggest names in R&B and jazz music. The two-day fest at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens will take place March 21-22 and begin with a kick-off party March 20.

The headliners include: R. Kelly, Maxwell, Toni Braxton, jazz pianist Brian Culbertson and Men of Soul — the group featuring Peabo Bryson, Jeffrey Osborne and Freddie Jackson. The festival will be co-hosted by comedians D.L. Hughley, who hosted the 2014 fest, and Rickey Smiley, host of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show.

“Less than 2,000 people attended the first edition of Jazz In The Gardens and I was one of them. Ten years later we are preparing for our best Jazz In The Gardens ever,” Oliver Gilbert, Miami Gardens mayor, said in a press release. “This will be special; we’re very excited and March can’t come fast enough.”

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster or on jazzinthegardens.com. Advanced tickets are $55 for a one-day pass and $85 for a two-day pass. Tickets can also be purchased at the Sun Life Stadium box office, 347 Don Shula Dr. For additional information follow the festival on Twitter and Facebook.
