A pickup-truck driver who crashed into a Publix 18-wheeler early Monday morning in Miami Gardens died at the scene, local news reports say.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. in the area of Miami Gardens Drive and U.S. 441, according to Local 10.

The Publix tractor trailer was leaving a Publix distribution center in Miami Gardens and attempting to cross Miami Gardens Drive when the truck, going fast, crashed into it, according to Herald news partner CBS News Miami. The crash’s impact caused the truck, which was heading eastbound, to be wedged under the 18-wheeler.

Miami Gardens Police did not respond to the Herald’s queries about the accident. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed to CBS4 the the death of one driver. Authorities have not identified yet the driver who died. The Publix driver was not injured, CBS4 reported.
