Two hospitalized after Miami Gardens shooting, police say
Two people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a tree following a shooting in Miami Gardens Thursday night, police said.
One of the men was shot several times, and the other required treatment from injuries he suffered when the car hit the tree, a Miami Gardens police spokesperson said in an email Friday.
The incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. at the 1700 block of Northwest 183rd Street, the spokesperson said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took one man to the hospital in an ambulance and the other by helicopter, according to police. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Police have not released either man’s name, and the shooting remains under investigation.
