Miami Gardens police identify man killed outside community pool

Miami Gardens police on Wednesday identified the man killed in a shooting outside of a community pool the day before.

Eric Andre Brown, 48, was found dead in the middle of the street at about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 18700 block of Northwest 28th Place, near Brentwood Pool.

Police Spokesman Det. Michael Wright said Wednesday that there were no suspects in custody.

"We are following up on leads from witnesses," he said.
