Woman wounded in drive-by shooting in Miami Gardens, airlifted to hospital, police say

A woman is recovering after police say she was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Miami Gardens.

The shooting happened in front of a home near Northwest 29th Court and 153rd Terrace on Sunday night, according to Miami Herald news partner CBS4.

The woman, who is in her late 50s, was airlifted to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Miami Gardens police.

No other information was immediately available

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police.
