Investigation underway after a train hit a pedestrian in Opa-locka, police say

Police are investigating near the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and Ali Baba Avenue in Opa-locka after a pedestrian was struck by a train Wednesday afternoon.

Opa-locka Police Chief James Dobson tweeted about the crash at 1:14 p.m.

Expect clogged traffic in the area, two miles north of Miami Dade College’s North Campus.
