Two men were arrested Wednesday after a tri-county chase that began in Miami Gardens and ended in Palm Beach County, according to Miami Gardens Police.
Det. Michael Wright said Wednesday that officers heard gunshots in the area of Northwest 167th Street and 17th Avenue and then saw a red sedan speed off.
After a failed attempt to pull the car over, the officers pursued the car as it headed eastbound on the 826 and then northbound on Interstate 95.
“It was cooperative effort between multiple jurisdictions,’’ he said.

The pursuit was caught on camera by WSVN-7. The car can be seen speeding, weaving in and out of cars. It eventually attempts to exit the highway and hits several cars before it appears as if the car loses a tire.
One of the men gets out of the car, jumps over the highway barrier and takes off running through backyards. A police officer with a dog eventually catches him.
The Sun Sentinel reported that the chase ended when the driver got off at Gateway Boulevard in Boynton Beach. The report said that one man was apprehended in the car and the other suspect was hiding behind a house on Northwest Second Court.
