Man shot during robbery of college student

A man was shot “multiple times” during a robbery of a Miami Gardens college student Saturday night, WSVN reported.

The 23-year-old shooting victim was hospitalized during a robbery of a college student around 10 p.m., according to the station. The shooting took place near the entrance of Florida Memorial University but was not on school property.

The victim was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center, the station reported.
