Police investigate child left in car in hospital parking garage
Miami Beach police are investigating a child left in a car in the Mount Sinai Medical Center parking lot.

Just after 10:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a child left in a car, officials confirmed Thursday morning.
Soon after 11 a.m., Mount Sinai employees got in touch with the child’s parents over the phone, who said the child’s father was in the car at the time but wasn’t seen by the person who contacted police.
Police headed to the family’s residence to check on the child’s condition as a precautionary measure, Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez said.
The hospital is at 4300 Alton Rd. in Miami Beach, at the foot of the Julia Tuttle Causeway.
