Miami Beach will join the countless number of tributes to late music icon Prince with a screening of a live performance from his 2004 Musicology tour.

The free outdoor screening will take place 8 p.m. Tuesday night at Soundscape Park, 500 17th St. The performance was the kick-off show for the 2004 tour at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer died April 21 at his Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minn. He was 57.

Over nearly four decades Prince released more than 30 albums, sold more than 100 million records and won seven Grammy Awards. He also dazzled audiences in South Florida on multiple occasions including a memorable performance at the halftime show of Super Bowl XLI in 2007.
