The shooter got into an argument with someone else on Collins Avenue at 11th Street, and it moved a block north. The shooter fired his gun after getting out of a gray car. A bullet struck the victim at 6:45 p.m., said Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez. The man who was shot was not involved in the argument.
The shooter and his intended target bolted from the area, Rodriguez said.
Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
