New England Patriots star clowns around with Miami Beach police

NFL star Rob Gronkowski had an encounter with police in South Beach on Wednesday, but it wasn’t for any off-the-field issues.

Gronk was just creating some social media gold when he posed for an Instagram video on a cop’s motorcycle.

Gronkowski, a tight end for the New England Patriots , also posed for a photo with Miami Beach police officers. The department’s official Twitter account shared the image Wednesday afternoon.

He stated his support for law enforcement in the hashtags of his Instagram post, which as of Wednesday afternoon already had more than 57,000 likes.

The Pro Bowl player hasn’t wasted time making his Instagram account interesting since he joined the social media service last week. On Friday, he made a video featuring his quarterback Tom Brady. The pair are known for being a dynamic duo on the field, and they won a Super Bowl together during the 2014 season.
