Traffic across JFK Causeway closes again due to drawbridge malfunction
For the second time in three days, the John F. Kennedy Causeway closed for a short time to vehicles and pedestrians because of a malfunctioning drawbridge.
Miami Beach officials alerted its followers on Twitter about the closure around 7:45 p.m. Sunday. About an hour later, the causeway reopened.
Is is unclear why bridge was malfunctioning.
Bridge troubles gave commuters traffic snarls Friday afternoon when the same thing happened during rush hour.
