One City, One Author’s Muse
As Miami Beach continues to celebrate its centennial this year, the city is sponsoring a book club that features a novel that showcases a local author and the Beach’s history.
The “One Book, One City” program kicked off Wednesday at the Jewish Museum of Florida, where writer Thane Rosenbaum led a reading of his novel “How Sweet It Is!” The story is set in Miami Beach in 1972.
Residents can receive a free copy of the book by registering through the city’s website, www.miamibeachfl.gov.
Several book discussions will be held throughout November:

▪ 7:30-8:30 p.m, Nov. 15
