Workers have repaved the road at 16th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Miami Beach after a water main broke Monday morning.
As of 3:30 p.m., the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue was reopened after being repaved, according to city spokeswoman Nannette Rodriguez.
Rodriguez said the water main broke around midnight. Just after 6 a.m., the Twitter account for the Beach police department reported that repairs were underway and locals should expect delays.
Water service in the area was restored about 8:30 a.m. At around 9 a.m., the department tweeted that the 1500 block had been closed as crews worked on repairs.
