The woeful weather is mostly over.

So what else to do but hit the beach? If you’re not working, that is.

Tourists returned to the beach on Monday. Lucky them. At least commuters got a drier than expected trip to work.

With Erika moving on, a flood watch that was originally set to expire at 8 a.m. was canceled before the sun came up.

Forecasters expect Monday to be partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of rain, decreasing to 20 percent at night. Highs will be around 90.
