Man charged in Miami Beach bank robbery

A Miami Gardens man faces federal charges after he allegedly robbed a Miami Beach TD Bank branch Monday morning, according to the FBI.

Johnnie R Cooper, 47, will face a judge federal judge Tuesday for his role in a robbery at about 11 a.m. Monday at a TD Bank branch, 350 Lincoln Rd. Miami Beach police arrested Cooper shortly after the robbery was reported.

Miami Beach Police Department, the South Florida Violent Crimes Task Force and the FBI continue to investigate.
