Miami Beach promotes 10 police officers

The Miami Beach Police Department has promoted several officers to key positions.

Chief Dan Oates swore in three sergeants, three lieutenants, two captains and two majors at a ceremoney at City Hall on Friday. More than 100 people attended.

The promotions are:

▪ Majs. Mark Causey and Richard Clements.

▪ Capts. Paul Acosta and Wayne Jones.

▪ Lts. Daniel Morgalo, Jed Burger and Marlen Rivero.

▪ Sgts. Neill Fagan, Eduardo Garcia and Elise Taylor.
