Police on Friday are continuing to search for a gunman who shot and wounded a man shortly after an argument at a Miami Beach restaurant.
Miami Beach police said they got a 911 call of a shooting at 1311 Washington Ave at 9:21 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, they found a man with an “apparent gunshot wound.”
Investigators learned that there was an argument inside the restaurant shortly before the shooting. TV news showed officers still combing Harold’s Shrimp & Chicken for clues Friday morning.
The wounded man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Unit, according to police. He was released from the hospital Friday morning.
Police said they will not be disclosing the man’s identity because he invoked Marsy’s Law.
Anyone with information that can help with the investigation is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
