A 16-year-old with autism was found after he went missing in Miami Beach

UPDATE: Michael Sebastián Vargas was found safe hours after he went missing in Miami Beach, the Miami Beach Police Department announced Sunday night.

A teen with autism is missing after he was last seen Sunday afternoon near the beach in Miami Beach, police said.

Michael Sebastián Vargas was last seen at 1 p.m. near 6969 Collins Ave. wearing a red Spider-Man shirt, blue shorts and gray and blue sneakers, according to the Miami Beach Police Department.

The 16-year-old is 5’10’’ and weighs 140 pounds.

Anyone with information about Vargas should call Miami Beach police at 305-673-7901.
