A reward is being offered for a U.S. Mail thief in South Beach. He wore a FedEx shirt

A $1,000 reward is being offered by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service after surveillance video showed a man stealing mail from a South Beach apartment building on Aug. 17.

And he wore the garb of the competition, FedEx.

Whether or not he’s actually a FedEx employee or if he had something in particular in mind isn’t indicated by the video or the “Wanted” poster put out by the U.S. Postal Service. But the video from 1670 Lincoln Ct. absolutely, positively shows a man in a purple FedEx shirt breaking into mailboxes and stealing mail.

The reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the thief. To give information, call U.S. Postal Service Inspection at 877-876-2455 and say “law enforcement.”
