Miami Beach police investigate report of shooting on Ocean Drive

Miami Beach police Friday were investigating a shooting near Ocean Drive.

Just before 6 p.m., Miami Beach police tweeted to avoid the area of First Street and Ocean Drive because of a shooting. Police had received several calls about the incident.

A few minutes later, police said two people were detained but the victim had not yet been located. Details on the subjects were not given.

UPDATE: Our scene is still very active. A victim has not been located at this point. We did receive several 911 calls of a shooting. Two subjects currently detained.
