Model who posed topless with cops posts bond after South Beach Food & Wine arrest
A model/actress/real estate agent who once posed topless with two New York Police Department uniform cops pleaded not guilty Tuesday to all charges after an arrest at the South Beach Food & Wine Festival.
Cheyenne Lutek, 25, posted $500 bond Monday.
Lutek’s encounter with Miami Beach police Sunday night apparently lacked the jocularity of her July 2013 photo with two NYPD officers. They wore uniform blue. The then-19 Lutek didn’t wear a top. The photo gained wide circulation.
Sunday night around 10:40, the arrest report said, Lutek didn’t have a ticket when she ran into the Food & Wine Carnival event around the 1600 block of the beach sands. Eventually, staff and two officers found her. After walking her out, the report says, they tried to explain to Lutek that she needed a ticket for entry and things were about to wrap up anyway.
Lutek “became irate and attempted to strike Officer Ruder by whaling her arm towards Officer Ruder’s left shoulder,” the report said. “[Lutek] was redirected to the ground where she was handcuffed without incident.”
Police described her as “incoherent” and having “bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech, the strong smell of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and would oscillate between being aggressive and non-complaint to calm and indifferent.”
