Miami Beach Police released video showing the moment when a suspect enters a business, pulls out a firearm and demands cash from an employee. Police say the white male suspect said "Give me your money" and then forcefully took $2,053 from the victim.

A white man with a white shirt over his face and an off-white shirt on his torso robbed a Miami Beach travel agency of more than $2,000 before absconding in a white SUV, police say.

The thug used a silver semiautomatic handgun with a black handle, according to the Miami Beach police incident report.

Why the robber chose to hit Finest Vacation, 6638 Collins Ave., on Sept. 7 isn’t known. What’s known and caught on surveillance video is that the 6-foot tall robber, dressed a little like a Miami Beach gardener in floppy hat, long-sleeved shirt and long pants, entered the business around 1:42 p.m. while owner Patricia Chiara was counting cash.

Chiara said he demanded, “Give me your money” and snatched $2,053 in cash. He left out the front door, through a nearby alley and into a white GMC SUV. Police think the SUV is an all wheel drive, as indicated by the “AWD” badge on the trunk door. They think the “SLT” badge is on the side of the car. A stolen temporary tag was over the actual tag.
