Miami Beach police have identified the woman found dead outside a South Beach bank Sunday night as a homeless street artist.
Lucinda Anne Reilly, 48, was found in front of the Wells Fargo branch at Lincoln Road and Alton Road at around 9:45 p.m. Sunday night, according to the police report. Two other homeless men who knew her found her. One of the men had seen her lie down there in the late morning, and he noticed she had not moved when he passed by at night.
She was pronounced dead on the scene by fire officials. Investigators have not determined the cause of death.
Reilly made her living selling paintings on the Lincoln Road mall. One of the witnesses said she and her boyfriend had broken up about three weeks prior, but detectives do not suspect foul play, and toxicology tests are pending.
