He beat her head with a gun and then stole her revolver. He wanted her ‘s---’

Miami Beach police are on the lookout for three men who they say were involved in an armed robbery this week.

In a surveillance video, a man wearing dark clothing is seen walking across Collins Avenue toward the Sultan Mediterranean restaurant around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday and crossing paths with 24-year-old Janalyn Martin.

As he approached the woman, he took out a handgun and began to strike her in the back of the head and yelled “give me your s---.”

“The subject was able to forcefully, and without Martin's consent, pull Martin's purple purse away from her, breaking the handle strap to the purse before running west to 19th street,” according to a police report.

Inside the purse? A loaded black Taurus revolver and a flip phone.

Video footage shows a silver Nissan Rogue (possibly a 2016 model) with dark tints driving by and picking up the man. Inside the getaway vehicle were two other men, police say.

Martin was bleeding profusely when police arrived. Beads from her bracelet sat in fresh blood, the police report said. She was later taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center.

The robber was believed to be wearing black pants, and a brown T-shirt. He was about six-foot-two and 180 pounds, witnesses say.

Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471- TIPS.
