A man wanted for stealing two cockatoos in a cage off the front porch of Little Havana home last week has been arrested and charged with one count of burglary to an unoccupied dwelling, according to police.

The birds and their cage were not found, Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat said.

Last week, police released surveillance video of the man taking the cage sometime between 4:50 and 5 a.m. April 24 from the front porch of 1835 SW Ninth St. Police say the man was identified as Marcus Page, 46.

“The man in the video is the man we arrested,” Fallat said.
