Part of Flagler Street closed after driver kills woman on sidewalk, Miami cops say
The investigation of a Thursday morning tragedy, a woman killed by a driver, has westbound Flagler Street closed from 57th to 58th avenues.
Miami police say an early investigation determined the driver was pulling out of a parking lot when he hit a woman crossing the parking lot exit on the sidewalk.
The driver stayed put. The woman was in critical condition when taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she died.
