Miami police are responding to a bomb threat at a nursing home near Marlins Park, which officers said they’re considering “credible until it proves otherwise.”
Officers said the threat was called into Victoria Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 955 NW Third St. Northwest Ninth through 11th avenues have been shut down, as well as Northwest Second through Fifth streets.
Miami Police Spokesperson Kenia Fallat said officers are searching floor-by-floor until the building gets the all-clear. The building wasn’t evacuated.
“We’re following protocol,” she said.
